INA PROJECTS
WARRI PROGRAMS
One of the organization's aims is to promote social and economic empowerment among its members and people of Itsekiri heritage. INA-WB achieves this through the donation of books and computers to the library in Warri and its tutoring program for Itsekiri students who were unsuccessful in their first attempt at the West African Examination Council (WAEC) examination (high school diploma) in Delta State. In addition, during the 2016/2017 academic session, INA-WB extended the sponsorship of the program to include selected students to take their Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam that will give them the opportunity to gain admission into University.
BACK TO SCHOOL PREP
In the US, we are working to support education, as well. In partnering with Shelter House in Fairfax, VA and New Hope Housing in Alexandria, VA, we are ensuring that area kids have the supplies they need to begin the new year. When children's needs are met, they can focus on their studies. This project is the beneficiary of our Annual Back to School Picnic, held in July.
